Crafting Fun for Kids: Unleash Creativity at Our School Holiday Crochet Workshop!
Join us for a day of creativity and skill-building at our All-Day Kids Crochet Workshop! Perfect for young crafters aged 9 to 15, this hands-on experience will introduce them to the wonderful world of crochet.
Throughout the day, participants will dive into the basics of crochet, learning essential stitches and techniques to kickstart their crochet journey. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, they'll discover how to hold a crochet hook, work with different yarns and hooks, and explore the versatility of crochet.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the foundational chain stitch where your child can experiment with different yarns and hook sizes. Once mastered and as their confidence grows, they'll progress onto a larger project, where we will get started on making their own crocheted purse. For this project we will work with a no.10 crochet hook and a chunky squishy wool, their project will come together over the course of the day, as they progress we will introduce them to new stitches so that by the end of the day they will have a good understanding of the essential crochet stitches they will need to continue what could become a life long hobby.
With small class sizes limited to just 10 participants, each child will receive personalised attention and hands-on assistance, ensuring they can progress at their own pace. We'll provide a variety of crochet hooks and yarns for experimentation, allowing them to explore the endless possibilities of crochet.
Please note that this workshop is designed for focused learners, and therefore, it is not suitable for younger children. Our goal is to empower each participant to achieve their crochet goals and create stunning handmade accessories they'll be proud to show off.

We believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, so in our workshops your child will have the opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy learning some new skills away from their screens. Kids will learn new skills they can apply to future fun projects outside of class. Class sizes are always kept small so that they enjoy hands-on assistance while they learn and create.
Our space is secure and not open to people who have not booked into a workshop. All teachers have a valid working with children check that can be shown upon request.
Parents need to drop off children in person and complete the admission & a release form that will indemnify Made by Me Workshop from any claims or liability related to any accidents that occur while participating in any of our kids workshops.
