About Made By Me Workshop

Our story begins in 2017 when our founder, Rebecca Doyle, decided to take a career break and reconnect with her childhood love for arts and crafts. Growing up in a large family with limited resources, Rebecca discovered the joy of creating with simple materials like cardboard, pipe cleaners and paddle pop sticks. It's no surprise that she followed her creative instincts and pursued a degree in Fashion & Textile Design at University.

After enjoying a diverse and fulfilling career in the fashion industry for more decades than Rebecca cares to admit, she yearned to return to the thrill of crafting one-of-a-kind objects. Thus, Made by Me Workshop was born—a culmination of her passion and the path that led her back to her creative roots.

At Made by Me Workshop, family is at the heart of everything we do. While Rebecca is the driving force behind our creative haven, her sister Naomi is right by her side, helping run workshops and inspire customers. But it doesn't stop there—Rebecca's beautiful parents are often in the workshop helping with anything and everything, her mum Annette is fast becoming a celebrity in our social media feeds and pops into many of our classes. Rebecca’s other four sisters, Elizabeth, Rachael, Sarah & Gabrielle are never far from the action, and are often referenced in the stories Rebecca shares while leading a workshop. When Rebecca speaks about Made by Me Workshop, she uses "we" and "our" because she knows it's a collective effort, and without the unwavering support of her family and close friends, this journey would not be possible.
