Abstract Pattern Collage Workshop With Sophie Cooper

Join us in our inspiring creative space in St Peters for this engaging collage class where you will dive into the vibrant world of Abstract Collage with Sophie Cooper from Scoop Designs. This is a playful workshop that explores the use of shapes combined with pattern, colour and design.

The workshop starts with a brief introduction including how to create interesting compositions and cohesive designs. You will then explore different colour palettes, positive and negative space, textures and layering to create your own unique style. Embrace hands on techniques using both drawn and patterned paper with scissors as a drawing tool. Throughout the workshop you will be encouraged to experiment with both abstract and figurative compositions. Templates are provided as a starting point and then move onto creating your own designs.

No matter your skill level, this workshop welcomes everyone—from beginners seeking a creative outlet to experienced artists looking to push their boundaries. Whether you're into mixed media, eager to explore new techniques, or just want to have a blast expressing yourself through art and design, this workshop promises to ignite your inspiration and bring joy to your artistic journey.

At Made By Me Workshop we believe craft is as much about creativity as it is about connection, in our workshops you have the opportunity to meet new friends, share a few stories, laugh with each other and simply enjoy some time out for yourself. We have coffee and tea making facilities as well as a few snacks to sustain you through the workshop but if you prefer barista-made coffee, you can grab one from Aslan Cafe, just a short stroll away.

Price: $95

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces for workshops, all bookings are final and strictly non refundable. We do not refund classes but you are welcome to send someone else in your place if you can't make it on the day. Since Sophie is a special guest teacher it may not be possible to reschedule the workshop to another day but with a minimum 5 days notice we will do our best to reschedule to another date or an alternative workshop. In most of our workshops we require a minimum number of people to run the workshop and will do our absolute best to run every workshop we list but occasionally it is not commercially feasible to do so. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a full refund or reschedule.
